Gods Holy Spirit

Gods Holy Spirit he is a person.

 I often get concerned when well meaning brothers and sister in Christ begin to speak about the Holy Spirit.

Often the Holy Spirit is seen as a force.

This is very common in the Pentecostal and charismatic churches.
And it is disturbing to here people talking about alter calls where Gods Holy Spirit "got them" "zapped them" and other such terms.

Please friends don’t miss understand I have nothing against alter calls and people been prayed for .Those sacred times for people to respond to God and often God’s word after the preacher delivers a message can in so many cases be encounters with God and life changing .

But the Holy Spirit of God is a person and he is a gentleman .So how do we know the Holy Spirit is a person?

 What do we know about the person of the Holy Spirit?

 The Holy Spirit came to glorify Christ and to lead believers into all truth. On the eve of His crucifixion while still in the Upper Room, the Lord Jesus said to the disciples, "The counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."

Gods Spirit is not female in gender

 The Holy Spirit in the above scripture is described and taught by our Lord Jesus as a he and a he is not a she by the way, I have even heard ordained minister’s of the Gospel to say God is a she in addressing the congregation .This became the in thing in about 2010 .No we need to stay with what scripture says and not bow to stupidity to please those who have never taken the time to study Gods word, but delight in telling God’s people there own personal version of scripture .

 God’s spirit is a person.   

 He is not a divine influence. He is not a fleecy white cloud. He is not a ghost or a concept. He is God -- with all the attributes of deity. He is the third person of the Trinity Sunday morning side show a super power who zaps boarded people on alter calls .He is a person

He is not just a force

The Holy Spirit is not just a force .Some say the movie star wars was on a plane like the bible and the catch phrase ‘’The Force be with you ‘’ was like a reference to the Holy Spirit well what is new about the movie industry trying to  distort biblical truth folks nothing . The Jehovah’s Witnesses cult believes this also that he is only a force.
This is false.  If the Holy Spirit were merely a force, then He could not speak; [Acts 13:2;] ² As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.. He could not be grieved [Eph. 4:30] ³⁰ and grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.



 The truth is that the Holy Spirit is a person the same as the Father and the Son are within the trinity.

So when sharing or speaking about The Holy Spirit lets always respect and honour him he is a person who is with you to comfort you .
